Find Love at the Cleveland APL this Valentine’s Day

<< Back

CLEVELAND, OH (February 9, 2010) – The Cleveland Animal Protective League is committed to helping people find love every day.  Instead of blindly browsing classified ads or looking at pictures online, come to the Cleveland APL and let us introduce you to your perfect match.  Using the Meet Your Match® compatibility tool developed by the ASPCA®, we can help you find the snuggling Love Bug of your dreams or a silly Goofball who will keep you laughing.  Whether you’re looking for a Couch Potato to enjoy long naps with or a Party Animal who will keep the atmosphere lively, we can get you started on a long-lasting relationship.

The Cleveland APL believes that everyone deserves the type of unconditional love that can be found in our building, so to help people with their search for true love, this weekend, February 13-14 only – just in time for Valentine’s Day – we are reducing our adoption fees on all animals by $14!  In addition to the discount, all adopters will go home with a bag of free goodies to help get them started with their new relationship.

“Hundreds of successful matches are made every month at the Cleveland APL,” said Sharon Harvey, Executive Director.  “Happy adopters are constantly telling us that they wish they’d adopted from us sooner; they don’t know how they went so long without the love and companionship their new four-legged best friend brings to their lives.”

All dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, have received age appropriate vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with helpful species-specific animal care information, and a free initial veterinary exam. Cats/kittens come with a travel box, and dog/puppy adoptions include a collar, I.D. tag, and leash.
