Cats’ Eye View

January 15, 2010

Ozzy loungingIt’s Ozzy here!  The New Year is here, and I am more energized than ever!  I promised Kobe that this year I would take on more of the responsibilities of writing this blog.  That means fewer naps for me in 2010!

I wanted to tell you about two lovely, green-eyed feline ladies who have been long-time residents here at the APL.  The average time it takes to find our cats their new homes is 4 weeks, but Princess Kitten and Shadow have called the APL their home since April 2009.  This is what is so great about the APL.  While we don’t want any of our animals to be here any longer than they have to be, our adoptable animals stay here as long as it takes to find them a family … no time limits!

Princess KittenPrincess Kitten is 4 years old and was brought to the APL because her owner was moving and could not bring her along.  Princess Kitten is shy.  But with time and affection she always comes around!  Princess Kitten is looking for an owner who will allow her to warm up to them on her terms.  She would be best in a home as the only pet.

ShadowShadow is also 4 years old and she was brought to the APL because her owner could no longer afford to take care of her. We don’t know much about Shadow’s past but what we can tell you is that she is a lover who will shower her new adopter with a ton of purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time!

Help Our FriendsPrincess Kitten and Shadow are really great cats!  Even though everyone here at the APL really loves them, we can’t wait until they find their way into great homes!

KobeDon’t forget to check back next week when we will have more things to share in “Cats’ Eye View”!

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
